Testimony from investigators and prosecutors on Friday explained the series of occasions:
On the day of the murder, Gori, 47, had called law enforcement about 11 a.m. when he discovered an deserted black Ford F-150 registered to Banowetz about a fifty percent-mile from his home on Mooney Creek Lane in Edwardsville.
